Standard Oil
Ralph Loomer and Floyd Loomer ran the Standard Oil station at the intersection of Main and Wisconsin Streets. It was a regular gas station and they also delivered heating oil. When the war started, Ralph had a brother in Minnesota manufacturing radios for the war, so the family moved there. After the war, Ralph and his family returned to the Whitewater area, moving to Lake Mills, where Ralph and Floyd again worked together as builders.
