I have vague memories of the 4-H club. A few of the chidren in the family belonged . I remember taking a cooking class form Mrs. Wynn(sp?). We made chocolate pudding from scratch and learned about measuring the ingredients with care. We had ice cream socials and served a variety of pies with a dab of ice cream up top. The girls wore thier aprons and took the treats to the tables of those that waited. The slatted wooden chairs and folding tables were on lawn of an old school house where we had our meeting. The county fair held many of the 4-H member's projects. I remember a little pin I recieved for being a member. I may still have it somewhere.

As a recent alumna of Delta Zeta, our members would love to hear from past DZ members (and Delta Sigma Epsilon members - its local affiliation prior to becoming a national sorority), your time in the house on Center Street or the current house, the Esterly house, on 604 W. Main St. We hope you will have time to visit our home on Home-coming or any other time of the year that you find yourself in the Whitewater area.
